Ride ‘Round Rhody 2013

120We would like to introduce our fans to this great cause close to our hearts and our home. If you are interested in supporting or cycling, all the information is listed below.

For the past four years, hundreds of cyclists and volunteers have joined as one to raise necessary funds for cancer treatment at local hospitals.

This year, cyclists in the 5th annual bike-a-thon will cycle 25, 50 or 75 miles with a challenging mix of tree-lined roads, gently rolling terrain and climbs that will get the heart pumping. A new feature for 2013: For those with iPhones and Androids, you will be able to use an app to view the course maps for RRR and get turn-by-turn directions!

All riders are required to raise or donate a minimum of $250 in support of their participation. It is this fundraising effort that allows your participation to have such a tremendous impact on the community. Only riders who achieve this minimum requirement prior to the event will be able participate.

There are incentives for raising additional funds:

· All participants who exceed $1,000 will be recognized as members of the 2013 Peloton Pack
· Top participants will be eligible to win prizes and will be invited to participate in the check presentation ceremony when RRR funds are awarded to local hospitals
· The winners of the team competition will be honored by having a contribution made in their team’s name to a local cancer center, which the team can help select.

Participants who register after May 28 will receive an event t-shirt and goodie bag when they participate on ride day, having met the minimum fundraising requirement.

During registration, allows you to make a contribution in support of your own ride. This is an important first step in raising money from other people. By doing so, you can invite them to join you in supporting local cancer treatment, rather than simply asking for their money. If you are eligible for one of the discounts, this is a great opportunity to put the savings to good use for the community.

There is no rain date for this event. All registrations are final (click here for our full registration policy).

Online registration closes before August 1. Riders can register at the event, for $100 (day-of registrants must also achieve the $250 fundraising minimum prior to the ride).

For more information about riding, or to learn about volunteering, please visit:

Be sure to check the “registration fee” section of the RRR Details page to see if there are any current discounts available!

Thanks, and enjoy the ride!

Fabulous Weekend at Fitch’s Corner!

Hello Fans,

Bad Pony had an amazing time at Fitch’s corner this past weekend. We met many new fun & enthusiastic fans who fell in love with our brand! With over 50 vendors the show was full of life! It also had an old British vibe. An atmosphere of ladies dressed to the nines in fancy hats and designer duds, men in afternoon jackets and slacks, and the horses bathed in their natural beauty made for an incredibly picturesque time at Fitch’s Corner. The show was abslutely beautiful and we met these other incredible talented vendors such as:

Patricia’s Presents

By Sunday, we had sold tons of toddler Bad Pony gifts and watched as young girls ran around sporting their recently purchased Bad Pony tees and accessories! Our favorite moments were seeing customers come in and connect their own ponies by name to the designs that resembled the naughty behaviors they experience on a daily basis.

Here are some Bad Pony™ photos from our time at Fitch’s Corner:

Bad Pony receives the call!

Good Morning,

We are so excited to let our fans know that we will be joining the Horse & Hound Tents at Fitch’s Corner in Millbrook, New York this weekend! A spot opened up and we got the call yesterday to be a part of the show and sell our Bad Pony merchandise in the popular marketplace. We have successfully obtained a hotel room last minute, and although we are bummed to miss Friday’s festivities we are excited to be on site for Saturday and Sunday. The show looks like a lot of fun and elegance and we are so excited to be a part of it. Come out and join us this weekend in Millbrook, NY!

Here is a little information about the Fitch’s Corner:

The horse competition is the core activity of the weekend and, for the third year in a row, will be the site of the United States Eventing Association Area 1 Northeast regional championships.
This year, not only are they celebrating their 20th Anniversary but they are offering $20,000 in prize money to the approximately 350 competitors participating in the event at all levels in the three disciplines that define eventing — dressage, cross country and stadium jumping.

Follow this cool link to learn the 20 reasons not to miss this show! (because Bad Pony was a last minute vendor, we may not be listed on the marketplace roster just yet!)

Our Bad Pony Model Tori, Wins Big at Plymouth Rock Classic!

IMG_7308An exceptional little rider & Bad Pony model Tori, won a reins length of ribbons last weekend at the Plymouth Rock Classic “AA” Show. Our Bad Pony boutique was at the show and we were thrilled to get this awesome shot of Tori and her pony, Grayson! We were so proud of Tori who showed in the competitive short stirrup division and placed in every class. There was a lot of competition at this show and she was determined to ride her best! It was especially funny when she was schooling and her trainer told her to ride straight after a jump towards her poster! Congratulations Tori & Grayson on a job well done.
